WARREN - Janet L. Thompson, 43, died at 6:40 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 7, 2012, at her home after three years of battling cancer.
She was born April 6, 1969, in Warren, the daughter of Patricia Dawson Kirin of Warren and the late Frank Kirin.
Janet was a 1987 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School and was also employed as a store manager for Circle K for 10 years. She was a member of Shepherd Joy Ministry in Windham, and she enjoyed reading and spending time with her grandchildren.

Other than her mother, other survivors include her husband, Bill Thompson, the love of her life with whom she spent 25 wonderful years; one son, Mathew Ryan Thompson of Warren; two daughters, Terri (Brian) Leach and Kaycee (Abdullo) Davlatova, both of Warren; one stepdaughter, Stacy Burdette of Garrettsville; three grandchildren, Joshua Leach, Myah Leach and Rayne Burdette; and three siblings, Thomas M. (Jane) Kirin of Overland Park, Kan., William E. Kirin of Warren and Laura Miller of Yarmouth, Mass.
Other than her father, Janet was preceded in death by one brother, Timothy Kirin.
Memorial services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, where Pastor Roy Harman will celebrate Janet's life. Family and friends may visit one hour prior to the service.
