BRECKSVILLE - Peter J. Yamsek, 88, formerly of Canton, died Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012.
Mr. Yamsek was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and the recipient of two Bronze Stars.
He retired from East Ohio Gas Co.

He is survived by his wife, Jeanne L. Loro Yamsek; four sons, Mark, Thomas, Christopher and James; eight grandchildren; and a sister, Mary Lee.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
Funeral services will be 10:15 a.m. Wednesday at The Ferfolia Funeral Home in Sagamore Hills, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at the St. Basil The Great Catholic Church.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Interment will be in All Saints Cemetery.
