Judy L. Kramer 1937-2012

NILES - Heaven received a special angel when Judith Louise Sharlock Kramer, 75, passed with her husband and children by her side on Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012, at the Cleveland Clinic after a short illness.

Judy was born May 20, 1937, in Warren, the daughter of Robert and Genevieve Sharlock.

Upon graduation from Warren G. Harding, she married Donald Kramer on Dec. 31, 1956, and moved to Niles.

Judy retired from Fairhaven Workshop after 25 years as a workshop specialist. She also worked at the voting polls for 40 years and started the first Brownie troop in Niles.

She loved to travel to New York City and Niagara Falls and any place she could shop. She loved spending time with her husband and family. She loved music such as Al Green, Elvis and Michael Stanley, and attended several concerts. She was an honorary member of the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame for her donations of Al Green memorabilia.

Judy loved and enjoyed her grandsons and never missed their soccer, football and basketball games. She also enjoyed watching the Indians, Cavs and Notre Dame games, along with watching her game shows.

Judy is survived by her husband of 56 years, Don; three children, Sheri, Kevin (Donna) and Dawn Louise, all of Niles; and two grandsons, Eric and Marc. She will be sadly missed by her family and many special friends, some who called her "Grandma Judy.''

Judy was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Jean Lee Pagano.

Friends and family may express their sympathy at the Lane Family Funeral Home, Roberts-Clark Chapel, 180 Garfield Drive in Warren, from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday. The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Interment will follow in Pineview Memorial Garden.
