POLAND - Cosmo Iamurri, 90, died Thursday morning, Oct. 4, 2012.
He was born Feb. 7, 1922, in Boiano, Italy, the son of Pascuale ''Patsy'' and Cristina Romana Iamurri.
Cosmo was an Italian Army veteran of World War II.

He worked at Youngstown Foundry and then his family's restaurant, Hill Top Pizza in New Castle, Pa.
Survivors include his three children, Christina Cobucci of Italy, and Tony Iamurri and Ida Melia, both of Poland; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a brother, Antonio Iamurri of Hubbard.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Angelina; son, Pasquela Iamurri; a brother; and two sisters.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Youngstown, preceded by a 9:10 a.m. prayer service at the Rossi and Santucci Funeral Home in Boardman. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Entombment will take place in Green Haven Memorial Gardens in Canfield.
