Mr. and Mrs. Karl E Fauvie of Howland were honored guests of a 50th anniversary celebration at the Fifth Season Banquet Center in Mineral Ridge on Sept. 1, 2012.
The event was hosted by the couples two children, Karl (Lisa) Fauvie of Mineral Ridge and Robert (Nina) Fauvie of Sumter, S.C., and their three grandchildren.
Karl Fauvie and the former Rosemary Morrow were married Sept. 1, 1962, at Christ Our King Church in Warren.

Mr. Fauvie retired from Packard Electric in 1988, and Mrs. Fauvie retired from Packard Electric in 1989. They spend time volunteering at Trumbull Memorial Hospital and traveling to Myrtle Beach, S.C., for the winter months. They also enjoy spending time with their family and attending various events for their grandchildren.
