Pam and Sam Houser of Southington would like to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Ava Marie Houser, to Ryan Edward Gilanyi, son of Steve and Shari Gilanyi, also from Southington.
Miss Houser is a 2007 Chalker High School graduate. She furthered her education at Lakeland Community College, where she graduated with a degree in applied science, dental hygiene, in 2011. She is employed as a dental hygienist at the Dental Health Group of Chagrin in Chagrin Falls.
Mr. Gilanyi is a 2006 Chalker High School graduate and 2008 graduate of The University of Akron Police Academy. He is employed as an operator / laborer for J&M Logging and Lumber.

The couple will be united in marriage during a wedding ceremony to be held Oct. 13, 2012. A reception to celebrate will follow later that evening.
