LEAVITTSBURG - Robert Ford, 81, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012, at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Warren.
He was born May 28, 1931, in Akron, the son of the late Harry and Ester Elswick Ford.
Robert was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and was awarded five Bronze Stars and three Purple Hearts. He retired from the Luntz Corp. after 23 years of service. Robert was a life member of VFW Post 1090 and avid trap shooter and fisherman. He was also a member of the Leavittsburg Fish and Game Club, where he served as vice president from 2000 to 2005.

He is survived by his wife, Eldora, and all of his family who loved and will miss him.
