ASHTABULA - LeRoy Layton Lipps, 71, died Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012, at Ashtabula County Medical Center.
He was born Aug. 16, 1941, in Ashtabula, the son of Layton Howard and Glenna Doris Fetters Lipps.
Mr. Lipps worked for Rome Feed and was a member of First United Methodist Church of Andover.

Survivors include his wife, Sabra E. Wood DeAngelo Lipps of Ashtabula; his daughter, Lisa L. Fleming of Williamsfield; a son Mark A. Lipps of Louisville, Ohio; a stepson, Harold A. DeAngelo of Ashtabula; a sister, Nola Vlock of Jefferson; two brothers, L. Robert Lipps of Williamsfield and Lesley Lipps of Ashtabula; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Janet L. Smith Lipps; and an infant daughter, Aimee Vanessa Lipps.
A funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Baumgardner Funeral & Cremation Service, Andover.
Calling hours will be 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
