The engagement and upcoming wedding of Rachel Hunter and Adam Lamer are being announced by the bride-elect's parents, Dean and Camille Hunter of Cortland. Parents of the groom-elect are Barry and Amy Lamer, also of Cortland.
Miss Hunter graduated magna cum laude from Kent State University in 2012. She is employed as a videographer for Dunn Well in Raleigh, N.C.
Mr. Lamer is a 2011 cum laude graduate of The University of Akron. He is employed as a computer software developer.

The couple will be united in marriage during a wedding ceremony to be held Oct. 6, 2012, at Champion Presbyterian Church, Champion.
Invitations have been issued for the ceremony and a reception to be held at DiLucia's Banquet Hall in Warren.
