CORTLAND - Betty Marie Austin, 92, died Thursday, Sept. 27, 2012, at Cortland Health Care Center.
She was born June 8, 1920, in Youngstown, the daughter of James Goist and Freda Weide.
Betty was a member of Johnson United Methodist.

Survivors include a daughter, Cathy Humphrey of Cortland; three sons, James Dunbar of Vienna, Kenneth Dunbar of Oak Ridge, Tenn., and Gerald Dunbar Worthington; and eight grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Niles Austin; and a daughter, Judy George.
Per her wishes, there will be no services or calling hours. Arrangements are being handled by the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home.
