The Liberty Township third annual Celebration in the Park was held in spite of the weather Sept. 8 at the township administration building.

The event was sponsored by the township, the Liberty Historical Society, Windsor House, Walmart, Great Clips and the First Assembly of God Church.

Prior to the celebration, a parade that began at the old school library on state Route 304 traveled to the administration building. The celebration, originally scheduled to be held at Liberty Center Park, was moved inside to the administration building due to rain.
