AUSTINTOWN - James J. Mesaros, 71, died Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2012, at his residence.
He was born May 3, 1941, in Youngstown, the son of John and Julia Mesaros.
James served in the U.S. Navy and later retired from the U.S. Army. He was a member of St. Michael's Church.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara; two sons, George of Youngstown and Matthew of Austintown; a sister, Pauline Kenney; and four grandchildren.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Lane Family Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel. Friends will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday and for an hour prior to services at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Green Haven Cemetery.
