The annual Trumbull County Cross Country Meet will be held at the new Brookfield High School today, beginning at 4:30 p.m.
The meet will be held behind the Brookfield High School campus, located on 614 Bedford Road, S.E., in Brookfield.
In past years when Brookfield has hosted, the meet has been run at the community park or at Yankee Run.
McDonald senior Patrick Kunkel is the two-time defending champion on the boys side.
Howland sophomore Morgan Buckley is the defending girls champion.
McDonald's boys have won the team title every year since 2006, while Maplewood's girls look to repeat.
The Rockets have claimed the title four of the last five years.
