LEAVITTSBURG - Eleanor Grace Stiffler, 71, went home to be with the Lord after a long illness Friday, Sept. 21, 2012, at the Cleveland Clinic. She was surrounded by her loving family.
Eleanor was born May 22, 1941, in Barnesboro, Pa., the daughter of the late Joseph and Alverda Horn Chila.
She was retired after 15 years of service from Trumbull Memorial Hospital where she was a CRCST tech and was a member of Sovereign Grace Baptist Church of Cortland.

Eleanor loved spending time with her grandkids and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She had 52 wonderful years of marriage to her "Special Angel," Leslie T. Stiffler Sr., whom she married April 8, 1960
Survivors include her husband; three children Donna M. (Wayne) Waddell of Warren, Leslie T. (Cindy) Stiffler Jr. of Warren, and Douglas E. (Gina) Stiffler of Newton Falls; a brother, Charles Chila of Spangler, Pa.; four sisters, Jennie Goaziou of Baja, Mexico, Darla Tishok of Hyde Point, N.C., Linda Sidwar of Indian Head, Md., and Deborah Chila-Smithbower of Loretto, Pa.; 13 grandchildren, Jason, Alysha, Mark, Nathan, Amanda, Joshua, Melissa, Samantha, Tabitha, Sarah, Douglas Jr., Brandon and Sophia; three step-grandchildren, Alexis, Allyson and Noah; and two great-granddaughters, Kali Rae and Savanna.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Leslie Edward Briggs; and a brother, Joseph Chila.
Calling hours will be 6 to 8 pm Tuesday at Staton-Borowski Funeral Home, Warren.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Pastor Chester R. Powell. Interment will follow at Pine Knoll Cemetery, Warren Township.
