WARREN - Heather Justine Balas, 24, passed away peacefully of an accidental death in her father's home in Greensboro, N.C., on Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012, where she was temporarily residing.
Heather was born Jan. 5, 1988, in Warren, the daughter of Kimberly Renee and Michael (Mick) Patrick Balas Sr., both of Warren.
She also is the stepdaughter of Kimberly Sue Balas of Greensboro, N.C. She considered herself to be the stepdaughter of her mother's fiance, Glenn Hrosovsky, also of Warren.
Heather was a very loving and beautiful person. She considered herself to be a stay-at-home mother. She gave birth to three sons, Braylen Samuel Bumbico and Caiden William Harris, who now resides in Greensboro with her father, and Leonard Samuel Bumbico Jr. of Warren.
Her hobbies and interests were camping, shopping and dancing. She loved music.
She spent as much time possible with her children. Her family meant everything to her, and she was always trying so hard to make them happy and to have faith in her.
She also is survived by her grandparents, Beverly Jean Leet of Warren, Raymond L. (Betty Jo "BJ") Smith of Warren, Andrew (Sandy "Peewee") Balas of Warren and Bud (Judi) Velenski of Florida; great-grandparent, Marjorie Potts of Warren; three uncles, Andy Balas of St. Louis, Randy (Theresa) Balas of Streetsboro and Ronnie Sr. (Jean Ann) Balas of Warren; a favorite cousin, Brandyn Michael Kline of Warren; as well as many others.
She was preceded in death by her aunt, Michele Elizabeth Kline; and stepaunt, Monica Walley.
As Heather wished, cremation took place at 12:15 a.m. Thursday in Greensboro, and the ashes will be sent home to Ohio.
Services are pending.
