Larry and Darla Slater of Champion are announcing the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Nicole Marie Slater, to Dominic James Chiarella, son of James and Mary Chiarella of Southington.
Miss Slater is a 2003 graduate of Champion High School. She graduated from Kent State University in 2008 with a bachelor of science in nursing. She is employed as a registered nurse at St. Joseph Health Center.
Mr. Chiarella is a 2004 graduate of Chalker High School and a 2011 graduate of KSU, with a bachelor of science in physical education.

The couple will be married during a wedding ceremony to be held Nov. 10, 2012, at Champion Presbyterian Church in Warren. Invitations will be issued for the ceremony with the reception to follow.
