Kennedy wins North Coast League, White Division title

HINKLEY - The John F. Kennedy boys golf team had a score of 326 to win the North Coast League White Division championship, besting 12 teams Wednesday at Pine Hills.

Ryan Fowler was the medalist for the White Division with a 73.

The other scores for the Eagles were James Lapolla with a 78, Steven Macali with 87 and Billy Phillips with an 88.

Kennedy won the White Division for the second consecutive year. Holy Name was second with a 336.

Brandon Bukofchan led the Rams with an 80 on the par-72 course, followed by Pierce Rassega (88), Collin Cameron (90), Josh Durig (91) and Tyler Cluse (104).

The medalist for the Upper Tier was United's Bradley Miller, who shot a 75.

In the Lower Tier, Payton Snyder of Western Reserve shot a 76 to win medalist honors, leading his team to a runner-up finish in the team event.

The Blue Devils shot a 345 to finish 16 strokes behind Columbiana.
