LEAVITTSBURG - Elaine P. Kania, 71, of Leavittsburg, passed away in Columbus, Sept. 20, 2012, peacefully with family at her side.
She was born Jan. 7, 1941, in Warren, to Andrew and Mary (Tvaroch) Bokros.
Elaine was a member of the SS. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church in Warren, and is retired from Packard Electric.

She is survived by her son, Vince (Carla) Kania of Rochester Hills, Mich.; a daughter, Jodene (William) Lupton of Columbus; five grandsons, Vincent, Anthony, Nicholas, Matthew and Phillip; and two sisters, Geraldine (Frank) Spano and Dorothy Sowa.
She was predeceased by her husband, Vincent.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Lane Family Funeral Homes Roberts-Clark Chapel, 180 Garfield Drive, Warren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton at the SS. Cyril and Methodius Site, 185 Laird Ave. Warren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her name to Tod Children's Hospital, 500 Gypsy Lane, Youngstown, OH 44504.
