SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. - Beatrice M. Burton, 91, went to be with her Savior on Sunday, Sept. 15, 2012.
She was born on Nov. 15, 1920, to Blanche and Herbert Bedlion in Sandusky.
Mrs. Burton was a resident of the Warren area for many years. She has lived with her daughter, Violette (Ray) Miller for the last 24 years in San Bernardino, Calif.
Mrs. Burton was married to William Leatherberry on Sept. 28, 1940, and married again to Stanley Burton in 1978.
Mrs. Burton has been a faithful follower of the Lord Jesus Christ since she was 18 years old and active in the church.
She is survived by a daughter, Eloise (Charles) Lenyo; son, David (Julie) Leatherberry; daughter, Violette (Ray) Miller; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a brother, Herbert (Jenny) Bedlion; sister, Audrey Harlan; and a sister, Lois (Robert) Bostard.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Blanche and Herbert Bedlion; sister, Lu Starck; and three brothers, Nelson, Grant and Bill Bedlion.
The viewing for Mrs. Burton will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Mount View Mortuary, 570 E. Highland Ave., San Bernardino. The funeral service will be held at noon Friday at San Bernardino Community Church, 2372 Lynwood Drive, at the corner of Arden and Lynwood in San Bernardino.
Burial will take place at Mount View Cemetery immediately following the service.
