GARRETTSVILLE - Jane Elizabeth Gossett, 86, died Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2012, at Longmeadow Care Center in Ravenna.
She was born Sept. 7, 1927, in Brownsville, Pa., the daughter of Thomas and Lena Kepnick Chew.
She was employed at Black & Decker.
Survivors include four children, Mary Snyder of Arizona, Carl Gossett Jr. of Salem, Deborah Henry of Pennsylvania and Laura Cantale of Garrettsville; two sisters, Jean Tassone of Garrettsville and Emma Kovachick of Twinsburg; five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Henderson Gossett; a grandchild, Carlye Statler and two brothers.
Private services will be held.
Arrangements are being handled by Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Garrettsville.
