MARIETTA - Michael Anthony Giglio, 59, died Sunday, Sept. 16, 2012, at The Ross Heart Center at The Ohio State University Hospital in Columbus.
He was born Jan. 13, 1953, in San Francisco, the son of Anthony and Thelma Bailey Giglio.
Michael was a 1971 graduate of Warren Western Reserve High School. He was an Air Force veteran, serving in Vietnam.

He was a self-employed truck driver. He had a love of steamboats and paddle wheel boats.
Michael's survivors include his wife, Julita Mellendes Giglio; a sister, Margaret (Raymond) Bigness of Liverpool, N.Y.; three nephews, Jeremy and Ryan Bigness of Liverpool and Kyle (Keri) Bigness of Franklin, Mass.; and a niece, Melinda Bigness of Fort Collins, Colo.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Marietta Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home. His family will greet friends for one hour prior to the service.
His ashes will be buried at Oak Grove Cemetery, Marietta.
