HISTORICAL PROGRAM DISCUSSES HOOKING RUGS: The Kinsman Historical Society will meet at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Kinsman Presbyterian Church, Church Street. CIVIL WAR GROUP SETS MEETING: The Civil War 150 Committee of the Sutliff Museum will meet at 3 p.m. Wednesday to discuss a Civil War event Sept. 22 at the McKinley Memorial Museum in Niles.
EVENT TO HELP CANCER VICTIMS: GTA Karate, 900 N. State St., Girard, is sponsoring its annual benefit, Fighting for the Cancer Victims, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday in the GTA parking lot.
