The engagement and upcoming marriage of Shalynn Rae Stevens and Scott Thomas Rogers are being announced by the groom-elect's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Rogers of Girard.
Parents of the bride-elect are Gregory and DeAnna Estep of Hernando, Fla., and Clovis Stevens of Charlotte, N.C.
Miss Stevens graduated from Port Clinton High School and earned a bachelor of business administration degree in Marketing from Kent State University. She is employed as an Analyst with Wells Fargo in Charlotte, N.C.

A graduate of Liberty High School, Mr. Rogers earned a bachelor of science degree in hospitality management from KSU. He is employed as head chef at Shoal's Grill in Mooresville, N.C.
The couple will be united in marriage during a wedding ceremony to be held Nov. 3, 2012, in Charlotte, N.C. Invitations have been issued.
