COLUMBUS (AP) - Police say they've recovered the body of a 24-year-old central Ohio woman who apparently drowned while jumping off cliffs into a quarry with friends overnight.
Columbus television stations say four people were jumping into the quarry in the western part of the city at about 1:30 a.m. today when 24-year-old Brittanie Patterson failed to surface.
After an initial search, police dive teams had to wait until the sun came up to recover her body.
