LIBERTY TO HOLD PARK CELEBRATION: Liberty Township's third annual Celebration in the Park will be held from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday at Liberty Center Park off state Route 304. The event will include a parade, car show, crafts, food, historical display, children's rides and games, Chinese auction and the Juke Hounds Band.

FOOD SALE SET AT HOSPITAL: Humility of Mary Health Partners in partnership with the Lake-to-River Food Cooperative will provide fresh produce to the public and employees from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at St. Joe's Minor Emergency, 1296 Tod Place N.W., Warren.
The food co-op received a grant from the Farm Market Promotion Programs of the USDA to provide fresh fruit and vegetables.
TASK FORCE HOSTS PROGRAM: The Mahoning Valley Task Force on Crime and Violence Prevention recently hosted a youth fair ''My Life, My Choice - Will My Choices Today Dictate my Future?'' at the Arlington Heights Community Recreational Center in Youngstown.
The purpose of the fair was to bring together resources for area youth to assist them in planning and preparing for the future, according to organizers. The event also addressed challenges and issues such as drugs, alcohol, teen pregnancies and violence.
BENEFIT TO HELP WOMAN: A benefit dinner, Chinese auction, bake sale and 50-50 raffle to help Lydia Farcas and her family will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Locianno's Banquet Room, 1743 S. Raccoon Road, Austintown.
Farcas has been battling stomach cancer. All proceeds will go to help the family as she faces stomach surgery and chemotherapy treatment.
