Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas Mariotti Jr. of Niles were the honored guests of a surprise 50th anniversary dinner party at McMenamy's in Niles on Aug. 4, 2012.
The event was hosted by the couple's three children, Lisa (Michael) Sypert of Mount Juliet, Tenn., Laurie (Scott) Paden of Niles and Nick (Nicholle) of Leesburg, Va. The couple also have seven grandchildren.
Nicholas Mariotti Jr. and the former Sandra Stull were married Aug. 4, 1962, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Niles, by the Rev. Matthew Quorante.

Mr. Mariotti is retired from Taylor Steel, and Mrs. Mariotti is employed by American Land Title Agency in Niles.
They enjoy spending time with their family and especially attending various events for their grandchildren in Niles, Tennessee and Virginia.
