TIFFIN - John F. Kennedy's boys golf team placed second to Fremont St. Joseph in a rain-soaked Tiffin Calvert Invitational at Mohawk Country Club. Ryan Fowler shot 72, while Billy Phillips carded a 75.
Fremont's Conner Dudley was the medalist with a 68.
Fowler and Phillips both made the all-tournament team. St. Joseph shot 320 to JFK's 324. Other team scores are: Norwalk St. Paul (336), Lutheran West (360), Tiffin Calvert (364) and Mansfield St. Peter (382).
Other JFK scores are James Lapolla (88), Stephen Macali (89) and Daniel Lapolla (93).
Friday, JFK will play in the Bishops Cup at Windmill Lakes in Ravenna.
