The engagement and upcoming marriage of Charity Werner of Galloway, formerly of Warren, and Matthew Claus of Pittsburgh are being announced by the couple.
The bride-elect is the daughter of the Rev. Christopher and Crystal Werner of Galloway. Parents of the groom-elect are Eugene Claus of Columbus and the late Helen Claus.
The couple will be united in marriage at a wedding ceremony to be held Sept. 22, 2012, at Apostolic Gospel Church in West Jefferson, with a reception to follow at the church annex.
