Leland and Helen Blose of Niles are celebrating 50 years of marriage.
Helen Mae McCoy, daughter of the late Theodore and Helen McCoy of Enon Valley, Pa., became the bride of Leland Blose, son of Orville and Hazel Blose of North Lima, on Aug. 18, 1962. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. William Seith at the Enon Valley United Presbyterian Church.
Mr. Blose retired from Sprint Telephone Co. in 1994. Mrs. Blose retired from Crest Lanes in Warren in 2009.

Invitations have been issued for a celebration in their honor to be held from 2 to 5 p.m. Sept. 2, 2012, at Aulizio's Banquet Center in Warren.
The couple's children are Mark Sr. of Niles, Jim (Kathy) of Leavittsburg, Lisa (Bill) Johnson of Danville, Iowa, and Tim Martinson (Pat) of Copley. They have four grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; and one great-stepgrandchild.
