YOUNGSTOWN - Phyllis R. Villio, 92, formerly of Niles, died at 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 16, 2012, in Valley Renaissance Health Care Center.
She was born April 9, 1920, in Tifton, the daughter of Michael and Anna Martarana.
She retired in 1988 from the Niles school district after 20 years of service and was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church.

Survivors include two brothers, Joseph Martarana of Warren and Richard Martarana of Washington, D.C.; two sisters, Frances and Angele; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Deceased is her husband, Lawrence Villio; sons, James and Mitchell Villio; four sisters; a brother; a granddaughter; and a great-granddaughter.
Funeral services are 1 p.m. Monday at the Holloway-Williams Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Friends may call an hour prior to services at the funeral home.
Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery.
