Peace event set in Warren

PRAY FOR PEACE EVENT SET: A Pray for Peace will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Courthouse Square in Warren. Area churches and community members are invited to come and stand as one to combat addiction.

FREE EVENT SET: Trumbull Neighborhood Partnership will hold a free public presentation ''Bank Walkaways: Public Nuisances and their Creators'' at 7 p.m Aug. 29 at 147 W. Market St. Raymond John Wean Foundation Western Reserve Room. Guest speakers are Zachariah Germaniuk who will present the ins and outs of the foreclosure process and how a home becomes a "bank walkaway." Also speaking is Leah Ifft of Empowering and Strengthening Ohio's People (ESOP). She is a veteran foreclosure prevention advocate who will discuss the loan modification process.
