CORTLAND - In celebration of the 30th annual Lakeview Band Night, the Lakeview High School Band is seeking alumni to perform.

Dubbed ''Lakeview through the Years,'' the show will be held Aug. 27 at the high school stadium. Sam Core and Ken Young will be guest conductors for the event.

Alumni wanting to be part are asked to email Nathan Sensabaugh, band director, at nathan. sensabaugh@neomin.org or call 330-637-2801.

Donna Umbrazun, president of the Lakeview Band Boosters, said rehearsals will be: 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, 3 to 5 p.m. Aug. 24, 5 to 7 p.m. Aug. 26, and 4 to 6 p.m. Aug. 27.

Umbrazun is urging all players to be at the Aug. 27 practice.

''We are looking for anyone who played in Lakeview's band or was a majorette who would like to be part of the band night," she said, adding that the alumni will march with the current high school band.

She said there will be a cost of $7 per person for event shirts. More details on song selections and instrument considerations will be provided.
