The 21st Brier Hill Italian Fest opens today.
Four days of music and food are planned on Calvin and Victoria streets with proceeds benefiting ITAM Memorial Post 12.
Entertainment today will feature Steve Fazzini, John Gabriele and the Avanti Band, while Gabriel & Friends, the Jim Frank Combo and the Rex Taneri Band will perform on Friday.
Saturday's activities include a hot pepper contest at 7:30 p.m. with sign-in starting at 5:30 p.m. Musical entertainment will be provided by Paul Rossi Orchestra, Frank Gallo Band, Rocco Monaco Orchestra, Jim Frank Combo and Gabriel & Friends.
An Italian Mass with the Lowellville Marching Band is planned at 10:30 a.m. Sunday at St. Anthony's Church, and a wine-tasting contest starts at 4 p.m. Sunday with sign-in at 3 p.m. The entertainment lineup for the final day features John Gabriele, Rex Taneri Band, Frank Gallo Band, Rocco Monaco Orchestra and Dom Tocco and the Brotherhood.
