FOWLER - Richard Scheidegger 77, passed away peacefully Friday evening, Aug. 3, 2012, at his residence in Fowler.
Richard was born Feb. 7, 1935, in Youngstown, the son of Richard and Dorothy Watters Scheidegger.
Richard retired from GATX Transportation Co.

He was a Navy veteran.
Richard is survived by his wife, the former Patricia Isaacs; four sons, Michael of Georgia, Eric of Hubbard, Daniel of Hartford and Heinz of Warren; three daughters, Heidi Allison of Hanoverton, Kathryn Brown of Warren and Elaine Scheidegger of Vienna; two sisters, Dorothy Welk of Cortland and Patricia Alexander of Howland; 19 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
The family would like any memorial contributions to be made to Hospice of the Valley in Richard's memory, 1590 Market St., Youngstown, OH 44515.
