EVENT MARKS 20TH ANNIVERSARY: The ''Cruisin with the Little Vikings'' 20th anniversary car show will be held Sunday at the old LaBrae High School and Viking Stadium off West Market Street in Leavittsburg. Registration is from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. with awards at 4 p.m. Registration is $7 with admission $1 and children 12 and younger free. The event will include a Chinese auction and 50-50 raffle. BACKPACKS TO BE PROVIDED TO CHILDREN: The Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy, 4619 Mahoning Ave. N.W., will provide free backpacks and school supplies for local children in grades kindergarten to second grade starting Monday on a first-come, first-served basis. GARDEN WALK SET: A garden walk sponsored by the Community Concerned Citizens II will be held from 1 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the garden site, corner of York Avenue at Jackson Street on the former Horace Mann School grounds. POKER RUN TO HELP AGENCY: Betty's Charity Poker Run will be held Saturday starting at Up a Creek Tavern in Howland, rain or shine. Sign-in is 11 a.m. with vehicles out at noon. Stops include Yankee Lake in Brookfield and Leon's Sports Bar in Howland. Cost is $20 for drivers and $15 for riders. There will be food, prizes, a Chinese auction, 50-50 raffle and music. AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAM OFFERED: The YWCA of Warren's Before and After School Enrichment program, in partnership with Warren City Schools, is accepting registrations for the school year for children in kindergarten to seventh grade. The program is held onsite at all the K-8 buildings and is licensed through the Ohio Department of Jobs and Family Services. There will be indoor and outdoor activities, arts and crafts, homework assistance and a snack. Those who register by Thursday will receive their first week of childcare free. Those who refer a friend will receive a $50 credit if the friend registers and stays for 30 days. There is an annual registration fee of $15. To register, call the YWCA at 330-373-1010.
