DEAR EDITOR:
The Water Department needs to stop trying to do road work and stick to water leaks. Look at the intersection of Mahoning Avenue and Summit Street.
There was a water leak repaired some time ago and when the road was repaired it created one of the roughest bumps in the city. I was sitting at the light and actually saw a motorcycle's wheels leave the ground when hitting this bump.
I understand the leak had to be fixed, but now the road needs fixed. What is really amazing is I'm sure people who work at Town Hall in Warren would travel across this bump and still it has not been repaired.
Come on, let's not forget that bumps like this can actually cause car alignments to go out and even could cause an accident if somebody would hit it too fast. Please, let's smooth out the bumps.
