DEAR EDITOR:
Schools cut costs by sharing. I was both surprised and pleased to read of this thinking regarding our schools' future.
Education has been of great interest to me for most of my life, having been a teacher for 35 years and serving on the Ashtabula County School Board for 19 years.
I was involved in the school consolidations in the 1950s.
The greatest fear of that movement was losing community identification.
We now know that identification does not have boundaries.
