Christine Bridgens and Michael Hogan of Niles are announcing their engagement and upcoming marriage.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Skeet Bridgens of Girard and Marty Centafanti of Niles. Parents of the groom-elect are Paul and Sandy Hogan of Niles.
Miss Bridgens will graduate summa cum laude from Youngstown State University in August of 2012 with a bachelor's degree in social work and a certificate in applied gerontology.

Mr. Hogan graduated from YSU with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice. He is employed by the state of Ohio.
The couple will be united in marriage in August of 2012 at the First Presbyterian Church of Niles. The reception is to be held at Enzo's Banquet Hall of Warren.
