BRACEVILLE - Melody N. Bundy, 20, died at 8:30 p.m. Friday, July 27, 2012, at her residence following complications due to diabetes.
She was born Jan. 13, 1992, in Warren, the daughter of Jeffrey R. and Diane Currey Bundy.
Melody was a 2010 graduate of Lordstown High School. For the last two years she was a student at Youngstown State University, studying to be a middle-school teacher.
She enjoyed reading, playing on her computer and hanging out with her friends and family.
She is survived by, her father of Sheridan, Ore.; her mother of Braceville and with whom she lived; a brother, Jeffrey T. Bundy at home; a paternal grandmother, Betty Bundy of Bristolville; and her maternal grandparents, John and Roberta Lytle of Bristolville. She also leaves behind her beloved cat, Pebbles.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Lester Bundy, and maternal grandfather, Darwin Currey.
Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday and from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel, where services will be 11 a.m. Thursday with Pastor Robert Smalley officiating.
Burial will be at Braceville Township Cemetery.
