LIBRARY HOLDS BOOK SALE: The Friends of the Warren Library will hold their annual book sale from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday on the second floor of the Warren-Trumbull County Public Library, 444 Mahoning Ave. N.W., Warren. ''Two Bucks a Bag'' will be Sunday, when the Friends provide a standard size paper bag that customers can fill for $2.The main library will not be open for regular business during the book sale. Proceeds from the sale will support programs and services of the library.
FOOD TO BE DISTRIBUTED: Humility of Mary Health Partners has partnered with the Lake-to-River Food Cooperative to bring fresh produce to the area from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at St. Joe's Minor Emergency, 1296 Tod Place N.W., Warren. The food co-op received a grant from the Farm Market Promotion Program of the USDA to promote and provide fresh fruits and vegetables in food deserts. The event is being held the first Wednesday of each month through October.
MASTER GARDENERS HOLD YOGA EVENT: Yoga classes will be offered by the Ohio State University Extension, Trumbull County Master Gardener volunteer program, at 9 a.m. each Wednesday through Aug. 15 at the Trumbull County Agriculture and Family Education Center in Cortland. Those interested in the class can call 330-638-6783 to request a space, as it is limited. Tuition is $10 each for non-certified Master Gardener volunteers and $8 for certified Master Gardeners.
