Mr. and Mrs. Ronald R. Malanga of Howland celebrated their 40th anniversary on July 22, 2012.
Ronald Malanga and the former Rosemarie Panfile were married July 22, 1972, at St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Mother Church in Stowe, Pa.
They are the parents of Chris (Nikki) Malanga of Bryan, Veronica (Zach) Schafer of Granger, Ind., and Monica Malanga of Lombard, Ill. They also have six grandchildren.

Mr. Malanga received a bachelor's degree from St. Joseph's University and an MBA from the University of Notre Dame. He worked for General Motors and Packard Electric before retiring from Delphi in 2000.
Mrs. Malanga received a bachelor's degree from Alvernia College. She was a teacher and is currently a homemaker.
