WARREN - David Lee Thomas, 74, of 605 W. Park Drive S.W., died at 11:40 a.m. Monday, July 23, 2012, at Trumbull Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness.
He was born July 23, 1938, in Wetumpka, Ala., the son of Roscoe and Mimae Mitchell Thomas.
Mr. Thomas was employed with Gibson Construction as a brick layer, and belonged to Triedstone Baptist Church.

Survivors include five sons, Johnny Henderson of San Rafael, Calif., Clemice ''Bug'' Thomas, Roscoe Thomas and Steven Thomas, all of Warren, and Marcus Thomas of Bedford Heights; four daughters, Carolyn Hicks of Tallassee, Ala., Barbara Jenkins of Warren, Ethel ''Rabbit'' Tobe of Auburn and Belinda Blackwell of Twinsburg; three brothers, Willie of Warren, Raymond of Wetumpka and Howard of Warren; one sister, Ethel Passmore of Gadsden, Ala.; 30 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Lorine Birmingham; a son, David Birmingham; a brother; and five sisters.
Services will be held at noon Monday at Triedstone Baptist Church. Calling hours will take place one hour prior to services.
Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery.
The family will also receive friends at 605 W. Park Drive S.W., the family home.
Arrangements of comfort were handled by the Sterling-McCullough Williams Funeral Home.
