BLOOMFIELD TO HOLD HISTORICAL DAY: The North Bloomfield Historical Society will hold its annual Historical Day from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at the township commons at state Routes 45 and 87. The day will include antique cars and tractors, musical entertainment, artisans, collectible displays and crafts. There also will be an Amish lunch from noon to 2 p.m. in the basement of the Bloomfield United Methodist Church, and a program at 2 p.m. with professional impersonators Gerald and Marilyn Payne as President Abraham and Mary Todd Lincoln and Mike Wilson as President William McKinley at the town hall.
SCOPE HOSTS SUMMER SHOW: The Niles SCOPE Senior Center is offering a summer show at noon today at the center, 14 E. State St., Niles, with professional ventriloquist Helen Hammett. She has created a repertoire of shows for audiences of all ages and uses hand-carved basswood figures for her shows. Call the center to register so they can determine a count for food.
