More than 100 acts, many from the Mahoning Valley, will perform over six days in Akron as part of NEOFest.
Band in a variety of genres will perform starting Monday at The Vortex, 1167 Brittain Road. Several of the acts featured are nominated for the first Northeast Ohio Local Music Awards, which will be presented 6 p.m. Saturday at the Akron Civic Theatre, 182 S. Main St., Akron. Both NEOFest and the awards are sponsored by the online broadcasting company Keepin' It Radio.
Here is the list of acts scheduled each night:
Monday - Josh Coffy, Mia Moffet, Luther Trammell (From LT and the Blues Express), A Way Eternal, Midnight Son, Altar of Eden, Across the Viaduct, Blue Fin, The Nazz and Tony Spitz.
Tuesday - Andare, Tony Spitz, 1 Way Up 2 Ways Down, Alpha, Oceans of Atrophy, Reflection of a Ghost, ROGUE, Engage, Goodnight Jersey, Sentients, The Scenic Route, Extra Spooky, Firmament, Dream By Night, Far From Nothing, Fallen Captive, Oh Tear the Veil, Worth the Wait and We Shall Prevail.
Wednesday - Motion Sickness, Audacia, The Third Awakening, One More Sun, The Mourning After, Sicadia, Kid Detective, Life After Liftoff, First and Thorne, Criminal Mayhem, The Infantry, Psyclosarin, Trancemitter, The Royal Remedy, Four Way Stop, Mercy Beach, Tender Slap, Particle17 and Missouri North.
Aug. 2 - Brain, Shoka Mike, Jesse Garland, Decomposing the Malevolent, Spectrum, In Ribbons, The Inferno, Liberty Deep Down, Oakley Green, Elevations, Black Eyed Betty, Run For the Skylines, Noize From the Basement, Twelve On The High, Alteras, Taken In Vain, Dakota Spells Disaster, Chasing October and Billow and the Kite Flyers.
Aug. 3 - The After Sweet, A-Mac, Bafflegab, Lost In Sin, Frank Toncar, Crystal Alwine, Hyvemynde, MC Cool Whip, Silence The Ocean, Jeff Ritz Band, Bunderthird, The Colour Effect, Belmont, Elipsus, Cicada Sunrise, Diana Chittester, Broken Canvas, 2d6 and Aristo.
Aug. 4 - Jason Uzzle, livethisdown!, Fallen Avenue, Burkley, Resistance Movement, The Army Before Us, Shadow's Claim, Jordan Genovese, Asleep In the Chapel, Day 35, Phantom In the Woodwork, Antique Bullets, The Magnumb Opus, Plastic Thieves, Two Days Until Tomorrow, Hold No Grudge, Critical Condition, The Kellys and Class A Bandits.
