The Niles SCOPE Senior Center is offering a summer show for members, non-members and grandchildren from noon to 1 p.m. July 26. Lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m. prior to the show.
Professional ventriloquist Helen Hammett will be the featured performer. Hammett has been a professional ventriloquist since 1984, taking her comedy troupe across the United States. She has created a repertoire of entertaining shows for audiences of all ages. Hammett uses hand-carved basswood figures for her shows, as well as other characters, each with their own distinct personality to tickle the funny-bone.
