Greek fest marks 45 years

The St. Demetrios Grecian festival kicks off today. Lambis and festival chairman Chris Zoumas of Warren decorated booths with American and Greek flags. There will be a variety of Greek food each day. Specials include fish on Friday, stuffed peppers and tomatoes on Saturday and seasoned meatballs over rice on Sunday.

The 45th annual St. Demetrios Grecian festival will be held today through Sunday at the St. Demetrios Center on Atlantic Street, Warren. There will be food, entertainment, games, rides, dancing and other events. Hours are 4 to 11 p.m. today and Thursday, 4 p.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday and 1 to 10 p.m. Sunday. Musical entertainment is at 7 p.m. daily.
