SUNFEST PLANNED AT PARK: Sunfest will be held from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Wick Recreation Area at Mill Creek MetroParks. The event will include a sand castle contest from 1 to 4 pm. with musical performances from 1:30 to 8 p.m.
DONATIONS NEEDED: The Salvation Army, 270 Franklin St. S.E., Warren, is in need of donations of clean, used grocery bags to be used for packing the food assistance for families helped each month. Bags can be dropped off from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Friday. A box is available in the main lobby. Items also needed include bottled water, tuna fish, peanut butter and canned soups.
