The engagement and upcoming marriage of Rose Lee Clay and Anthony Howze are being announced by the bride-elect's mother, Annie Lee Tipton of Warren. The bride-elect is also the daughter of the late John Stroud.
Parents of the groom-elect are Mary Mills of Cleveland and the late Tommie Mills.
Miss Clay is a 1989 graduate of Niles McKinley High School and is pursuing a BSB / HRM at the University of Phoenix. She is employed as a senior financial service representative for Verizon Wireless.

Mr. Howze graduated from Collinwood High School in Cleveland. He is employed as a construction worker.
The couple will be united in marriage during a wedding ceremony to be held Aug. 18, 2012, in New Jerusalem Fellowship Hall in Warren. Invitations will be issued for the ceremony and a reception to follow.
