HUBBARD - Doreen S. Groover, 52, died Friday, July 13, 2012, at her residence after a long illness.
Doreen was born May 15, 1960, in Warren, the daughter of Stephen and Mary F. Carmen Stefanik.
Doreen worked as a certified nurse's assistant in California.

She is survived by her daughter, Davina R. Groover of Pittsburgh; her mother of Hubbard; her brother, James Stefanik of Masury; and her sisters, Debbie Bennett of Hubbard, Mary Annette Vestal of Hubbard and Christine Sayers of Girard. Doreen also leaves her stepbrothers and stepsisters, Steve Stefanik, Jack Stefanik, Robin Gross and Theresa Geleskey.
Doreen was preceded in death by her stepfather, Stephen Stefanik, who raised her. She was also preceded in death by her biological father, Richard Groover; her grandparents, Jack and Mary Carmen; and two stepbrothers and a stepsister.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at Stewart-Kyle Funeral Home in Hubbard.
