Fri 7:50pm: Search continues for boy

BROOKFIELD -- The search for a missing 12-year-old Sharon, Pa., boy has narrowed to a section of the Shenango River in wooded area off U.S. Route 62.

Police dogs picked up the sent through the woods to a section of the river bank. Four search boats are dragging that part of the river.

Mark Goodrich, 12, of Sharon, Pa., has been missing since Thursday, according to his family. Police Chief Daniel Faustino said the family called police today and the trail led to the river.

The circumstances leading to the boy's disappearance have yet to be determined, Faustino said.
